Jeremy received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University at Buffalo with honors. He is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialty. Jeremy specializes in the treatment, management, and prevention of orthopedic & sports injuries. He has extensive experience treating complex cervical spine and TMJ disorders, headaches, orofacial pain, and cervical related whiplash and post concussive symptoms. He has completed a residency in TMD & orofacial pain and is a candidate for advanced board certification by The Physical Therapy Board of Craniofacial & Cervical Therapeutics.

At HI Physio, Jeremy has built a practice that ensures patients are treated with the highest level of care. His background in athletics, coupled with his passion and dedication to learning and professional growth allow him to relate to and assist his patients in hurdling many of the common challenges faced during the recovery process from pain and injury.

As a former competitive collegiate baseball player, with extensive experience in treating athletes, particularly baseball players, at all levels of competition including MLB teams, Jeremy is especially attuned to the needs and demands of all patients. He provides each patient with the tools for sustainable improvement in rehabilitation and performance,  empowering them to understand and perform foundational athletic movement with precision and efficiency. Jeremy’s unique approach to rehabilitation combines the use of functional manual therapy techniques from a multitude of methodologies and corrective exercises to restore proper movement patterns and help patients achieve their goals. Whether you are an elite level athlete, weekend warrior, or looking to move without pain in daily life, Jeremy tailors his treatments to the individual and guides his patients every step of the way! 

Jeremy’s philosophy works seamlessly in the management and treatment of TMD (Temporal Mandibular Joint Disorder). He has vast clinical experience in treating patients suffering from TMD, Craniofacial Pain, Cervical Pain, Headaches, and Myofascial and Chronic Pain, whiplash, and concussion.  Jeremy’s doctoral work on identifying prognostic indicators and management of patients suffering from post-concussion syndrome served as a strong foundation for his work with TMJ patients. He understands the crippling and debilitating effect of these symptoms on a patient’s quality of life, having dedicated significant training in advanced manual therapy and ongoing TMD research to optimize patient outcomes. His holistic approach reflects his understanding that TMJ treatment necessitates an integrated plan that addresses exercise patterns, breathing, stress management, sleep optimization, and nutrition. Jeremy is a firm believer in multidisciplinary management and partners with dental professionals to develop an integrative plan of care to promote optimal outcomes for patients.

Jeremy avidly lives a healthy lifestyle. He loves weightlifting with kettlebells, cooking, hiking, traveling, and trying the best restaurants NYC has to offer. He also continues to play baseball and basketball, both of which he has played competitively since adolescence.
