Tony is a licensed physical therapist who earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Dominican College and brings a decade of experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. Throughout his career, he has treated a wide range of conditions, from common musculoskeletal injuries and low back pain to complex post-operative cases and chronic pain. He has a specialized clinical focus on the cervical spine, TMJ dysfunction, orofacial pain, and headache disorders, and is currently a candidate for the Certified Cervical and Temporomandibular Therapist (CCTT) examination, an advanced board certification through the Physical Therapy Board of Craniofacial & Cervical Therapeutics (PTBCCT).
Tony takes a personalized approach to care, focusing on pain relief, smart exercise programming, and helping patients achieve sustainable results so they can get back to doing what they love. Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual, their goals, and their lifestyle.
In addition to his clinical practice, Tony is a lifelong martial artist with over 30 years of combined experience. He is an instructor of Wing Chun Kung Fu and holds a 2nd-degree black belt in Goju-Ryu Karate, a green belt in Judo, and continues to formally train in Tai Chi and Muay Thai. His background in martial arts strongly influences how he views movement, performance, and injury prevention—and those principles carry over into his physical therapy practice. At Hi Physio, Tony blends Eastern movement philosophies with evidence-based Western rehabilitation for a well-rounded, holistic approach to care.
Born and raised in NYC, Tony spends his free time biking, running, and walking around the city with his dog, Bacon. When he’s not in the clinic, he’s usually on the hunt for the best slice of pizza New York has to offer.
